What You'll Bring

  • 1+ years of experience as an H2S Safety Technician or 2+ years of experience in a related role.
  • Working knowledge of air-monitoring equipment, H2S/LEL detection, and respiratory protection.
  • Current certifications: H2S Clear, SafeLand, First Aid/CPR preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and on active drilling/completion sites.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform the physical demands of rig-up/rig-down.
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to safety.
  • Supervisory or lead experience on H2S/air-monitoring projects preferred.
  • Additional oilfield safety certifications preferred.

The Opportunity

We're hiring experienced H2S Safety Technicians and Supervisors to monitor work locations for existing and potential hazardous substances — including Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) and LEL — and to keep our clients' crews safe on every site.

Local candidates only. Applicants must reside in the Permian Basin (Midland–Odessa–Andrews, TX area). Out-of-town applications will not be considered.

What You'll Do

  • Provide on-site supervision of air-monitoring equipment during drilling and completion operations.
  • Oversee personnel using respiratory protection to ensure proper use and compliance.
  • Perform rig-up and rig-down of air-monitoring and safety equipment.
  • Conduct calibration, testing, and inspection of air-monitoring equipment, along with general shop maintenance.
  • Deliver H2S Awareness training and perform respiratory fit testing as required.
  • Prepare pre-job safety documentation, including Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), permits, and related forms.
  • Conduct routine safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor and manage H2S levels using detection and alarm systems.
  • Lead daily pre-job safety meetings on hazard recognition, emergency response, and proper equipment use.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures, policies, and protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, accidents, and emergencies with appropriate action and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, training sessions, and incident reports.
  • Manage inventory, maintenance, and proper usage of safety equipment and supplies.
  • Collaborate with management to promote and maintain a strong safety-first culture.
